(OTTAWA) Tax-Filer Empowerment Canada (TFEC) is pleased to announce that CloudTax has become the Association’s newest member with Nimalan Balachandran becoming a member of the TFEC Board.
An innovative new entrant to the tax preparation software space, CloudTax’s passion for technology and commitment to simplifying tax filing for Canadians brings a renewed grassroots perspective to TFEC’s mission.
“CloudTax’s experience as a provider of free tax filing software, and affordable tax prep services will strengthen TFEC and bring fresh perspectives to our partnership with the Canada Revenue Agency,” says Dan Pfeffer, TFEC Executive Director. “Our organization looks forward to benefitting from their contributions.”
“CloudTax has a passion for technology and a strong desire to support Canadians in managing their diverse tax situations,” says Nimalan Balachandran, Founder and CEO of CloudTax. “We are pleased to join TFEC and add our voice in support of fair and efficient tax filing for all Canadians.”
Balachandran founded CloudTax with the goal of bringing together his passion for technology and assisting Canadians in minimizing their taxes, by building new software that allows Canadians to easily file their taxes. Moreover, Balachandran wanted to give back to Canada, which provides an opportunity for newcomers like himself to pursue their passion and provide opportunities for growth.
